Darshan Gopal is a seasoned technology and operations leader with over 15 years of experience in Automotive semiconductors, consumer electronics, and custom silicon development. As the primary Operations Engineering interface for hyperscaler customers at Marvell Semiconductor, he leads cross-functional initiatives to deliver high-impact, technical test solutions tailored to next-generation cloud infrastructure.
Prior to joining Marvell, he served as Vice President of Operations Engineering at Indie Semiconductor, where he built and scaled the company’s global operations function from the ground up. As a member of the executive leadership team, he played a key role in Indie’s public offering in 2021 and led strategic initiatives across New Product Introduction (NPI), M&A, sourcing, and supplier negotiations. Earlier in his career, he worked at Broadcom Corporation, where he led test engineering efforts for high-volume connectivity products used by major OEMs including Apple and Samsung.
His technical foundation was shaped through a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Binghamton, where his thesis on large-scale neuromorphic computing helped lay the groundwork for the AFRL Condor Supercomputer. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Bengaluru, India.
